About the Commercial Real Estate (“CRE”) Christmas Breakfast
In 2003, a small group of 40 individuals from across Chicago’s CRE industry met at The Rosewood in Rosemont to reflect on the prior year and to consider the relevance of Christmas in each of their lives. Without realizing it at the time, that event was the “birth” of the CRE Christmas Breakfast.
Over the last 18 years, the CRE Christmas Breakfast has become a dynamic industry event, bringing together friends and colleagues from the industry to share a great meal and to be inspired with stories of faith and hope.
In recent years, over 800 attendees have excitedly filled the Hyatt Regency in O’Hare each December, and we could not be more excited for what is in store for the 18th Annual CRE Christmas Breakfast on December 10th, 2020.
2020 Virtual Event Details
Given the uncertain circumstances surrounding COVID-19, we are thrilled to announce our first Virtual gathering to ensure that everyone can safely participate in the event from the comfort of their own homes.
This year’s theme “A Reason for Hope” will be presented through an engaging one-hour streaming video. To participate, all you need to do is RSVP on this webpage, and we will send you a confirmation email to save the date on your calendar.
When the event starts at 7:30am on Thursday, December 10th, you will simply click a link that we will send you, which will direct you back to this webpage, and the video will begin playing. There is no need to download or sign-in. You will just watch the video online.
Anyone Can Participate For Free
The event is open to anyone at no cost, so please feel free to forward this webpage to your friends and colleagues so they can RSVP as well.
Since the event is Virtual, we are looking forward to having participation from outside of Chicago as well. What began as a Chicago-centric event will hopefully bring encouragement to commercial real estate and other professionals across the country, even around the world.
This Year’s Keynote Speaker:
Dr. Nicholas Pearce
Dr. Nicholas Pearce serves as (1) the founder and chief executive officer of The Vocati Group, a boutique global executive advisory consultancy (2) an award-winning clinical professor of management and organizations at the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management, and (3) assistant pastor of Chicago’s historic Apostolic Church of God.
He is also the author of The Purpose Path: A Guide to Pursuing Your Authentic Life’s Work. We couldn’t be more thrilled to have Dr. Pearce as our keynote speaker for this year's virtual event.
